| Tangle: Seton, Onomato and Ennies |
Also this week I kept working with Betweed. I did a mono tangle of it in a watercolour paper book, painting in watercolour paints. To get the intensity of colour I wanted I needed to work in layers, but I was pleased with the result.
We are in a lovely season of Spring right now and the roses are in full bloom. We were fortunate to have purchased a house which came with rows of rose bushes down the driveway. They are so delightful!

ReplyDeleteI love your Seton Response Tile, Anne. Great details. Looks a lot like a pattern one would see on the background of security papers like stocks, bonds, checks, and the like. Love your betweed tile also. Beautiful colors. I am a big Rose fan and love your Rose Image. We are just getting into Winter here, and the last roses are being enjoyed as clippings in the house at this time, and frost has put everything outside to a winter sleep.

ReplyDeleteI like your seton - especially the intersections. Your between is gorgeous - just love the vibrant colours. and how I wish we were just going into spring instead of winter - such lovely roses. envy.
ReplyDeleteThe lawyer part of my brain also expresses itself in detailed designs sometimes. :) But, yours is not just detailed, it's creatively detailed. I'm also impressed with your colored version of betweed.

ReplyDeleteI kept working with betweed this week too! It's addictive!!! I enjoyed the structure of Seton though and all of it's griddy-ness. I like grids. Thanks for your inspirations.
