Peace day challenge #40
This was an interesting challenge. I checked the site for Peace day and based my tangle on the whirley thingy. I have lots of symbolism in this one. First time for that. Can you guess where they are and their meanings??Tell me what you think.

encouragement received
Thanks to all who sent such encouraging comments on my #39! Shows its good to persevere. Had fun this week introducing 3 students and an adult friend to zentangling. The students love it and plan to incorporate it into their artworks. I just drink up their entusiasm. Not easy to inspire teenagers these days.

challenge #39
Took a third try to get into this one, maybe cos I had a very busy day. In the end I decided you have to have colour for love, so used one of my colour wash tiles. I enjoyed putting in highlights and playing with the tonal qualities.

Challenge #38 coloured
Just finished the coloured version. I used markers and a blender, but when I look at it on screen its not as even as I thought! Never mind, I had fun.

challenge #38
Been a crazy week with our freezer packing up! Half the food was thawed out so I had to cook it, then squeeze the rest into our tiny freezer atop the fridge. Following that find some nice recipes to use up the cooked food. How wonderful to be able to relax with tangle after that!! I do like the Paradox pattern, but have to have more practice doing straight lines! Plus ensure the patterns match symmetrically. I just noticed when I scanned my second tangle on today it had a mistake! Oh well, perfection isn't our goal right? I did the second one a bit more simply as I'd like to colour it. Sometime!
