This week we are to create something to do with Chinese New year and the Year of the Goat. I chose to take the curved horn as a symbol of the goat and select tangles from the letters g-o-a-t.
Tangles: Golven, Onamato, Antidots, Tearce
Some old ZIA's ...two on canvas -18"x18"and my second attempt at a ZIA in 2011!
Media: Gellyroll pens
Media: Artline permanent marker
Size: 31/2" square, Media, Micron pen and watercolour.
That second last one caught my eye with all the lines flowing from one tangle to another. I like the watercoloured one as well. It's vibrant and colourful but the colours harmonise well.
Beautiful work! I like the goat tile and the last one best.
ReplyDeleteClever idea for the goat tile and nicely executed. My favorite is the last colored ZIA you posted. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like all these tiles, Anne! If you want to know my favorite; it's the third one. I keep looking at it, what a brilliant chose of tangles and forms.
ReplyDeleteVery clever idea on your goat drawing.
