An unusual challenge this week, one I really had to think about. Asked to combine two strings and then tangle the result. So I considered how curves would go with curves, and chose strings # 93 and #112. I did make one mistake though, and that was to use a No.1 pen instead of a .05!
Just wanted to add a bit here..I belong to a Facebook zentangle group, with a current swap to create tangles on a watercolour background. Today I had so much fun splashing around, I thought id share a few of them
I like your 'back to basic' tile, Anne. Your colored tiles are awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou have some great tangling going on here and I love the papers and can't wait to see your finished work on them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jean, better show some!
DeleteYour shading gives lots of dimension and movement to your tile!
ReplyDeleteYou have some super effects going on there Anne!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shelly!
DeleteGreat Tile, Anne. You have very good control of you lines. Smooth, parallel, and even spacing. Judicious use of black fill, and terrific shading. Your colored pieces look like a lot of fun. You'll get some great ZIA's from them. Love you stuff Anne.
ReplyDeleteWonderful tile! I like the nice balance between dark and light! Great choice of tangles and great shading!
