hi all, colour challenge

Just a note to let you know you are not forgotten!! I have been keeping up with challenges while I am away in Perth with grandies, but have yet to work out how to send a phone photo to my blog. Never mind, I shall have quite a gallery full when I return on Oct 10th.

Ive had fun with the littlies painting gum nuts! They look great with some tangles on, and even look good with duck ponds and cooking ovens! Children can think outside the square. Some zendalas I printed onto watercolour paper, and am really enjoying painting those.

As I can't present any artwork today, I thought I might send you a colour challenge. Create a zentangle, repeat it twice and then colour each in three complementary colour schemes..blue and orange; red and green; yellow and purple. Use the colours in a variety of hues and tones and consider the use of CONTRAST. What are the different effects of the colour schemes?? Make a note of this for future reference, and let me know what you thought of the exercise.

Happy hols to those in Oz. Its 34 here today, so I wont be going far!!
